1. Magnolia Square - www.magnoliasquare.com.au

Magnolia Square
Occurring three times a year in the Melbourne suburb of Malvern, Magnolia Square brings together a carefully chosen group of retailers in a 'fair' atmosphere. The market serves a highly selective, premium market segment and the website needed to be stylish but informative and in an engaging format to keep visitors coming back. Self-managed site content technology was used to achieve this and is a major factor in the owner's ability to keep the content fresh and up-to-date between, and in the lead up to the fairs.
In addition to the main public page, two online shops have also been created in keeping the current successful style.

2. koolaman designs - silver with character - www.koolamandesigns.com.au

koolaman designs

koolaman designs make a unique group of silver jewellery products and previously utilised an 'off the shelf' online store as their business began operations. Quickly outgrowing this store as their business took off, they required a new online shop with a more meaningful link to their brand, and sophisticated back-office operations that would allow them to focus their time on designing and making their products.

With a host of newly-developed management and reporting functionality, this new store is offering its owners new found ways to reach customers and track the success of marketing campaigns. This functionality is now included in blad web design's core online shop and is available to all new clients.

4. The Floral Apron - www.floralapron.com.au

The Floral Apron
The Floral Apron sees modern Australia revisit the nation’s past through its food. A simple, but easy-to-manage site was required by the owner to complement and enhance her existing media presence in radio and food-styling photography. Subtle integration of brand-affirming engraved style imagery (supplied by the owner's graphic designer) reinforces the messages she wishes to project in her website.

5. Let's go Toto - www.letsgototo.com.au

Let's go Toto
With a range of beautifully hand-crafted children's hair accessories and a growing portfolio of distinctive artwork, this Sydney-based business required a site that would provide a functional and attractive display of its products to wholesalers and other interested parties. With a private 'wholesaler' only area of the site, new clients can review products and specifications, as well as place orders. The design framework was developed to accentuate the product's unique style without subsuming its simple function.

6. cosse natural cosmetics - www.cosse.com.au

Cosse
A simple, but expressive site was required to showcase Cosse's all-natural cosmetics. Using open source software (Wordpress) the total cost of the site was kept to a minimum, while allowing its owner full control over the contents. The result is an effective site in keeping with the owner's branding.

7. Chisholm Heights Accommodation -www.chisholmheights.com.au

Chisholm Heights
Situated in a spectacular riverside setting, the Chisholm Heights owners required a simple but communicative website for potential guests. Accentuating the area's magnificent natural assets as a gateway to Victoria's Alpine region was a key factor in the design of the site's heading area, and all site content was developed in an informative style, with clear descriptions of the accommodation's facilities and a live googlemap© for trip planning.
